Steindler Location: Florida, USA Website: Official website The McKnight Brain Institute at the University of Florida is a research and teaching center, which conducts integrated Research in neuroscience, neurology, psychiatry, cognitive science, and related areas. The Institute was founded in 1998 by Dr. William Luttge, and was also a project of the U.S. Department of Defense and Veterans Affairs. In 2004 Dr. Dennis A. Steindler was chosen to be the director of the Institute.
